Sanaa;
Sanaa opened one water-crusted eye and gave a good look around her surroundings. She was alone in the tent provided to her when Jax led her back to The Ascended, to which she was grateful he allowed her this peace (though strangely a part of her wanted to continue being around the Dane mix). It was nightfall now, the sun no longer baring an unforgiving glow upon the earth.

She sat up fully now, alert and awake. Sleep never came easy to her at night - too many nightmares about what had happened to her. It was hard to sleep alone. But just as the same, it was hard to sleep by someone, and Sanaa did not know any of the dogs that were also Unproven, like her. She was intimidated, needless to say, by how many there were left Unproven, and it left her feeling too shy to try to interact with them.

She didn't know if there were rules to stalking around the Unproven camp at night, but she just could not sleep! And when the sun was finally gone, the cooler air gave her some relief. So, slowly, Sanaa emerged from her tent and eyed her surroundings. Other tents surrounded hers, but what caught her eye was that there were some bodies not given tents. Dogs who were laying out in the open. She didn't understand and wasn't sure if it was a good idea to ask. Every pack had their own reasons.

Nonetheless, she still wandered, her eyes slowly adjusting to the light until she accidentally found that her paw fell upon something hard. It took Sanaa but a brief moment to realize she had stepped on someone's tail and leaped back, eyes wide with alarm.

"S-Sorry..." she mumbled.

Kayne;
Kayne had had a long day cleaning every nook and cranny in the Ascended. She had been there but a few weeks and she already felt like she cleaned the place top to bottom at least 1,000 times already. Exhausted from a long days work, Kayne lay down. Tied up as usual.

She was ready for a good nights sleep, but unfortunately for her she was wide awake. So instead she settled for just lying down, gazing around at her fellow slaves. That was until that, too, got unbearably boring for her. She shuffled further away from her fellow slaves, sick of their company and just wanting some alone time. There she lay and stared at the stars. She found her thoughts drifting back to her brother, Jhet. She wandered what he would be doing if he were here.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a splitting pain that erupted from her tail. She abruptly sat up and spun towards the offender, a snarl escaping her lips as she did so. Her cold gaze softened slightly as the offender stuttered an apology but Kayne still wasn’t impressed and it was evident on her face.
“It’s fine.” That was the only statement the poor dog got before Kayne lowered her head and used her front paws to scratch at the muzzle on her face. Oh, how she hated being a slave. After all she didn’t really do anything wrong, it was the heat.

Suddenly deciding that it was the other canines fault, as she is quite hard to see in the darkness, she turned her attention back to them before stating, “I don’t see many canines wandering around of a night time. You having trouble sleeping?” An emotionless mask prevented any feelings from coming across, as feelings are weak.
